Sahar Molavi (b. 1993, Tehran) is a Toronto-based director, writer working at the intersection of psychological thrillers and visceral body surrealism. Grounded in a BFA in Dramatic Literature from the Art University of Tehran’s School of Cinema and Theatre, with formal training in directing, acting, and writing, her practice centers on story architecture, theatrical discipline, and the physical transformation of the body. She formulates scripts, directorial treatments, and conceptual frameworks across cinema, performance, fashion, and brand positioning. Her work investigates power dynamics, invisibility, and the collapsing boundary between reality and hallucination.
